Q: How much does it cost?
A: No, it doesn’t cost you anything. This is a side project of the team which does not aim to make profit. We call this a hobby project.
Q: What kind of devices are supported?
A: All kinds of devices are supported as long as they have a web browser. This is a web based application which can be run on Windows, Mac, IOS, Android, Linux, etc.
Q: How to secure my event data when the app does not require user login?
A: The design of the web app is to make your lives easier. We reckon registration and login ruin the purpose of quick recording and access. Therefore we designed the application of secret slug which is basically a token embedded into the URL. Each URL to your event is unique.
Q: Any chance people can guess my slug (secret token)?
A: Nothing is impossible. But each slug is appended with an 8 digit random hexadecimal number which brings an additional 4 billion combinations to the slug. The chance of guessing the right combination is slim.
Q: How can I come back to the event after I closed the browser?
A: Each event comes with a specific URL that appends with your slug (secret token). You (and your teammates) can come back with that URL anytime.
Q: How to share the event to my teammates?
A: Each event comes with a specific URL that appends with your slug (secret token). You and your teammates can come back with that URL anytime. We recommend sharing the link to your IM chat group (e.g. Facebook messenger, whatsapp, wechat, telegram, etc) so that it can be easily accessed by everyone.
Q: Will it crash when my teammates and I are making new entry records concurrently?
A: No, it won’t. All data are sent to and stored in our gigantic cloud server which can handle hundreds of requests in each millisecond.
Q: Does it support multi-currency?
A: Yes, it does. Each event will support up to 170 currencies - including Bitcoin. You can even specific your own exchange rates.
